1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Fable Print 3D generator in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
These Terms apply to fableprint3d.com and every module of the generator (Keychains, Boxes, Clickers, and any module we add later). If you’re using Fable Print 3D on behalf of a company, you’re confirming you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms.
2. What Fable Print 3D Is — and Isn’t
Fable Print 3D is a browser-based design tool. You pick a module (a keychain, a box, a clicker), adjust the parameters — dimensions, name, fit, style — and the generator produces a print-ready STL file you download in seconds.
That’s the entire service. Specifically:
- We do not manufacture, 3D print, or fabricate anything. You print the files yourself, on your own printer, with your own materials and settings.
- We do not ship physical products. Nothing arrives at your door from us. What you get is a digital file.
- We are not responsible for the physical print. Dimensional accuracy, strength, finish, and fit depend entirely on your printer’s calibration, your filament or resin, and your slicer settings — none of which we control. Section 6 covers this in more detail.
If you came here expecting a custom fabrication shop that prints and mails you a finished part, this isn’t that — and these Terms don’t cover that kind of service.
3. Accounts, Eligibility & Subscription
Who can use this. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or subscribe. By using Fable Print 3D, you confirm you meet that requirement.
Your account. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Free vs. paid access. Each module offers one fixed, pre-set free sample model so you can see what the generator produces before you subscribe. Full access — generating your own custom parameters across all modules — requires an active paid subscription.
Billing. Subscriptions are $7.99/month, plus tax calculated at checkout, billed through Stripe. Stripe sells the subscription to you through Link — its own checkout and payments brand — which makes Stripe the seller of record for the charge and responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting any sales tax that applies; your card or bank statement will show a charge from “LINK.COM,” not “Fable Print 3D.” Subscribing also means agreeing to Stripe’s and Link’s own terms, which govern the actual charge to your card, your invoices, and your payment data — we never see or store your full card details ourselves.
Plan structure. Fable Print 3D currently sells a single subscription plan that covers every published module — there’s no per-module pricing. If that changes, we’ll update this section and notify active subscribers before the change takes effect.
Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel anytime from My Account on fableprint3d.com, from Stripe’s Customer Portal (linked there), or directly at link.com; cancellation stops future renewals but doesn’t retroactively refund the current billing period unless our refund policy says otherwise. Access to paid features continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
Price changes. We may change subscription pricing going forward. We’ll give existing subscribers notice before a price change applies to their next renewal.
4. License & Intellectual Property
What we own. The Fable Print 3D generator itself — the software, the parametric logic behind each module, the site, the brand — is our property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of that to you.
What you get when you generate a file. When you use the generator to produce an STL file, we grant you a license to that specific file — not a copy of our underlying design, just the output you created with your own parameters. That license lets you:
- Print it, as many times as you want, on any printer you own or control.
- Sell the physical objects you print from it. If you’re a maker or a small business selling finished keychains, boxes, or clickers at a market, on Etsy, or anywhere else, that’s exactly what this is built for — go ahead.
What the license does not cover. It does not let you:
- Resell, redistribute, or share the STL file itself — as a free download, a paid product, or anything in between. The file is for your own printing, not for handing off the design to someone else.
- Upload the generated file to another model marketplace or repository (Thingiverse, MakerWorld, Printables, etc.) for others to download.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise try to extract the parametric logic or source code behind the generator.
- Share your account or subscription access with people outside your own organization.
In short: the printed object is yours to sell; the digital file and the tool that made it are not.
Free sample models. The one free, pre-set STL available per module carries the same terms as a paid-tier file — you can print and sell the physical object, but you can’t redistribute the file itself.
Your own designs. If a module ever lets you upload your own image or content (for example, a custom engraving), you keep ownership of what you upload, but you grant us the license needed to run it through the generator and produce your file.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the generator to create designs that infringe someone else’s trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property — for example, a keychain shaped like a protected character or logo you don’t have rights to.
- Use the service for anything illegal, or to produce objects that are illegal to make, sell, or own where you are.
- Attempt to bypass the subscription paywall, share login credentials to get around per-account access, or use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts against the site or generator.
- Overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or other users’ accounts.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
We reserve the right to investigate and take action — including suspending or terminating access — against anyone who violates this section.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
No warranty on physical results. The generator produces a digital file. What comes out of your printer depends on variables entirely outside our control: your printer’s calibration, your material, your slicer settings, your print orientation, and your own skill. We make no warranty that any printed object will be dimensionally accurate, structurally sound, food-safe, or fit for any particular purpose — test before you rely on or sell any printed part, especially anything load-bearing or safety-related.
“As is” service. The generator and site are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fable Print 3D will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost sales, or damage from a failed or defective print — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Nothing in this section limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law.
7. Termination
You can stop using Fable Print 3D and cancel your subscription at any time from My Account, Stripe’s Customer Portal, or link.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if you violate these Terms, particularly Section 5 (Acceptable Use) or Section 4 (License & Intellectual Property). If we terminate your account for a violation, you’re not entitled to a refund for the remaining subscription period.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Section 4 (for files you already generated), Section 6 (Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability), and Section 9 (Governing Law) — continue to apply after your access ends.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service grows — new modules, new features like image-upload generation, or changes to the subscription structure will generally mean an update here. We’ll post the revised Terms on this page with a new effective date. If a change is material, we’ll make a reasonable effort to notify active subscribers before it takes effect. Continuing to use Fable Print 3D after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Fable Print 3D will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Smith County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Fable Print 3D is operated by Jaime Nolivos as an individual, based in Texas — there’s no separate LLC or corporation behind the brand, so Texas is both where the business operates and the law that governs these Terms.
