What It Is
This is a free sample pull from the Parametric Boxes module: one fixed-size box, generated and locked at the dimensions on this page so you can download it, print it, and see exactly how the system behaves before you commit to anything.
It isn’t a stripped-down demo. It’s the same engine members use to generate their own sizes — just handed to you at one specific configuration, ready to slice.
Design Features
- Skirt-style fit. The lid doesn’t just rest on top — it seats into a skirt built into the body, so it stays aligned and closed without clips, magnets, or a separate fastening step.
- Rectangular body with an internal divider. One divider runs along the X axis, splitting the interior into two compartments without adding a second print or a separate part to align.
- Corrugated wall pattern. The vertical-wave relief on the walls isn’t decoration — corrugation adds structural rigidity along the print layers, the same principle used in cardboard and sheet-metal paneling, scaled down to a 3D-printed wall.
- Tolerances already solved. Wall thickness, lid thickness, and the skirt’s fit tolerance are tuned so the lid goes on snug on a well-calibrated printer — you’re not guessing at clearances on your first print.
